Drivers use the RideStack driver app on their personal smartphones (iOS or Android). There's no need to provide dedicated devices. The app works on any modern smartphone and uses standard mobile data connectivity. For fleets that prefer dedicated in-vehicle tablets, we also support Android tablet deployment with optimized layouts for larger screens.

You configure maintenance schedules per vehicle type — for example, oil changes every 5,000 miles or tire rotations every 10,000 miles. The system tracks each vehicle's mileage through GPS data and automatically alerts your fleet manager when a service is approaching. Vehicles can be marked out of service during maintenance, and the service history is logged automatically for compliance and resale value purposes.

Yes. The analytics dashboard provides granular revenue breakdowns by vehicle, by driver, by time period, by zone, and by ride type. You can see which vehicles generate the most revenue, which drivers earn the most per hour, which shifts are most profitable, and which zones underperform. All reports are exportable to CSV or PDF for accounting and business planning.

Yes. The platform supports multiple fleet business models including company-owned/driver-operated, vehicle leasing/rental models, and owner-operator partnerships. You can configure commission structures, lease deduction models, and payment splits for any arrangement. Driver earnings calculations and owner remittances are handled automatically by the financial module.
